I read all the reviews good and bad, and went for it anyway. I'm glad I did cause it made my old vaccume like new again. The lil vac attachment had stopped working and I took it apart and put it back together again and that didn't help but I put in the new filter and it is a bit harder to get in but that is only the first time after that it's easy pease, but the lil attachment worked!!! will be buying again when I need a new one!Customer Review: works PERFECTLY

After reading the initial instructions that came with the vacuum, it seems as if the hepa filter is a lifelong one? So as long as you clean it periodically you should be ok....However I read the instructions months after I started using it, and my filter was caked with dust. Tried cleaning it and felt the best thing was just to buy a new one.
There is an OEM one sold, but its pretty expensive...this one is only around 7 bucks and it DOES in fact fit my vacuum...with no effort at all. I was worried about that, seeing as there are plenty of reviews stating that its not compatible. However with this low of a price, I figured its worth it to give it a shot. I dont know what exactly is wrong with the other vacuums, but this filter fit mine with no problem...no extra force or twisting was necessary.
So far working very well....
