Good value. It works just fine on our travertine floors as well as the oriental rugs. Nice swivel action on the head which allows us to vacuum under most of our furniture. It looks like you have to be careful with neck, so we hang it from the wall using the hole in the handle and a 1/4" lag screw. works great on tile and wood flooring...carpet, not so much. Doesn't pick up any hair or lint. It more rolls the hair and lint up into little balls which I have to pick up, turn the vacuum over and put it in. I like that it isn't loud. This is so quick, lightweight, and easy to use for tile floors. It gets the grit out of the grout lines, picks up cat litter, cat hair, and cat food good, and it picks up well, overall. It actually is fun to use. The only downfall is cleaning out the filter, which is messy and gets quite "dusty." The expense involved in replacing filters is quite undesirable.Customer Review: Great for use in between cleaning days

This is replacing the same Hoover I had. The first one had the floor attachment that would not stay on after a while. Then a drunk boyfriend picked it up in a rage and dropped it which of course cracked it and it still worked for a few days until the handle broke off from the impact. Of course I made him pay for this one. I liked having this vacuum as an everyday pick up.
