Ok I am kinda selective of buying a carpet cleaner and look for several different things. In an average week I will have to spot clean or clean a large area. I have 4 kids and 5 dogs and I absolutly hate my carpet stained. This Hoover F5505 was very handy for say cleaning a spot with the hand tool and did a good job. However if you need to clean a large area or even a room the upright cleaner is not wide enough.

This portable upright carpet cleaner gives you all the cleaning power you would need to clean a whole room or just spots on a carpet. Its powerful rotating brushes along with the directly applied heat from the motor will remove deep down dirt in your carpets. The handle adjusts so that people of all heights can use this unit comfortably. And it also folds for easy storage in your closet.. The stretch hose is always attached and will give you 5 feet of reach for spot, stair and upholstry cleaning. There is also a Carpet and Upholstry Tool that stores onboard the unit.
